Feeding: Easy - flakes, pellets, frozen, small live foods

Compatibility: Not aggressive

Availability: Common

Tankmates: Any small non-aggressive aquarium fish

This is one of the more friendly peaceful Barbs.

The males will turn bright cherry red when in spawning condition.

A 5 gallon tank will be fine for a pair or trio.
